Canpur CP752B Subjective Review: What a True Ultra-Flagship Should Be

November 24, 2025

Excerpt: Canpur CP752B – The Pinnacle of Ultra-Flagship Headphones

The Canpur CP752B, priced at $3,899.99, redefines what an ultra-flagship headphone should be—addressing the "compromise trap" plaguing many high-end models. Its unboxing experience exudes luxury: a ritualistic, museum-like interior with screw-on acrylic covers, paired with a premium ELETECH custom cable and soft leather case.

Beneath its polarizing "cement gray" medical-grade resin shell (optimized for comfort) lies a powerhouse driver setup: 7 BA, 4 electrostatic, 1 planar, and 2 bone conduction units, including Sonion’s groundbreaking G90 mid-high BA. Sonically, it delivers reference-grade performance—dense, immersive sound, a grand soundstage, and effortless resolution—yet is surprisingly easy to drive (7.6Ω, 102.7dB SPL).

Unlike its more mid-low focused predecessor, the CP622B, the CP752B balances robust bass with bright, extended mid-highs, feeling cohesive rather than disjointed. For audiophiles seeking a versatile, "endgame" choice, it’s a near-flawless option—just pair with warm front-ends like the Hiby RS8 for optimal musicality.

JOMO Audio Nautilus: Affordable High-Performance IEM

The JOMO Audio Nautilus, also known as "Nautilus," is a high-value in-ear monitor (IEM) that impresses with its steampunk-inspired design and powerful audio performance. Priced at $800, it shares the signature JOMO sound profile typically found in higher-end models like the GT600, but at a more accessible price point. The Nautilus uses an innovative driver configuration, featuring a 10mm DLC diaphragm dynamic driver for full-range sound, a 6mm planar driver for enhanced mid-high frequencies, and two bone conduction drivers to add texture and detail to the mids.

This IEM is especially suited for pop and live music genres, delivering a deep, immersive bass that creates a “stage-like” feel without overwhelming the mids and highs. The midrange is clear, detailed, and slightly forward, while the highs retain clarity and subtle resonance. Although the soundstage may not be as expansive for classical music due to the limited driver count, the Nautilus still offers excellent performance for its price. Overall, the JOMO Nautilus combines stylish design, innovative technology, and versatile tuning, making it a top choice for audiophiles looking for an affordable yet powerful IEM.

How Does the CP74E Compare to the CP622B, and Where Do They Differ?

September 27, 2024

The CP74E and CP622B are both high-end flagship earphones from Canpur, but they cater to different preferences. The CP74E is designed for a more intimate and emotionally rich listening experience, especially with vocal-heavy genres like pop music. It offers improved comfort for smaller ears due to its shorter and more ergonomic shell design.

While the CP622B boasts a broader soundstage, greater high-frequency detail, and better performance with classical and rock music, the CP74E excels in vocal clarity and atmosphere. Its bass is powerful but controlled, and it provides a fuller, more engaging mid-to-low frequency range. The CP74E is also easier to drive, making it more versatile with different devices.
